“Zakkat” in Islam is the money that is given by the good Muslims to help those in need. Unfortunately, this money sometimes falls in the wrong hands and is used to finance terrorism. Most of the people who offer this money don’t realize where this money goes. In our TVC a rich man is giving Zakkat to a poor family, a poor man and to a Quran school (Pakistani Version) and an orphanage (Pan-Arb Version) without realising that the childrens institutions is not giving the money to the children but the the terrorists hiding in the basement of the building.

Background on Zakat: This is what Muslims have to pay every year as charity, which totals 2.5% of all their total money earned, on condition that one year has passed on making this money. So the ulama have put Ramadan as their due date to pay the zakat. It is up to the Muslim to choose who he wants to give this money to, be it poor individuals, orphanages, institutions
etc... One may choose not to even pay Zakat.
