Smartphone Free Childhood: “Is This Really What We Want For Childhood?”
A masterclass in satirical storytelling, this powerful campaign for the grassroots movement Smartphone Free Childhood was created by creative agency Droga5, produced by Arts & Sciences, and directed by the brilliant David Dearlove. Recently awarded a prestigious 5-star rating on David Reviews, the film reimagines modern, toxic online algorithms as a dystopian 1990s video rental shop. As Art Director, my focus was translating David's sharp strategic narrative into a highly curated physical environment—re-envisaging that classic Friday-night video store nostalgia to anchor a deeply unsettling real-world message.
